The disciples noted that people believed Him to be a variety of people, including John the Baptist or one of the Old Testament prophets reborn. Jesus then asked them who the disciples said that He was. Simon Peter quickly answered: “Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God.” |

God Banned from "The Ten Commandments" Movie Ads |

Earlier this week, I learned that the promotional material for the new film “The Ten Commandments” had been edited so that the term “chosen by God” did not appear in trailers and advertising for the movie. “The Ten Commandments,” a 3D CGI animated film, is being released nationwide today (October 19). |

The Rise of the New Atheism |

From: Jonathan Falwell Date: October 13, 2007 Renowned World War II correspondent Ernie Pyle is often attributed with coining the phrase, “There are no atheists in foxholes.” Pyle, who traveled with servicemen in Europe, Africa and the Pacific Theater, apparently witnessed men turning to God while enemy fire reigned down on them. There was no comfort in their disbelief as they faced eternity without God.
Six decades later, atheism has become a trendy subject, gaining new exposure in the media. Atheists have become known as “free thinkers,” insinuating in that title that those who choose to walk with God are slaves to intellectual dullness. |
